What Dance Can Do - NZ
My eldest son is a dancer and I always wanted to be a dancer myself, so this project was very close to my heart, and an absolute privilege to be a part of. What Dance Can Do New Zealand believes dance is a tool to bridging gaps and they actively encourage the sharing of dance techniques and styles from different cultures and identity through dance workshops and performances.
The Brief:
“To document our pilot programme in New Zealand. Dance and dance education are useful tools in assisting children with their growth, learning and development, we aim to build effective programmes and hope to make dance and dance education accessible to children of all ages and backgrounds.”
What Dance Can Do New Zealand is committed to supporting the New Zealand dance scene, and dancer community by collating and telling stories about dancers, performances and dancing in the community.
