Living on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast in the wider Wellington region. And yes! I am happy to travel all over Aotearoa, New Zealand. Travel outside the greater Wellington region will incur additional costs.

I don’t generally supply raw images for a number of reasons, mainly because they are impractical for most people to deal with. Also because there is a level of care involved in editing that I can’t relinquish, it’s a part of the whole professional service. I want every image to look amazing on their own, as well as have them working all together as a whole story.

I am privileged to be a part of a wonderful community of talented photographers (many of who are close friends), here in Wellington. We support each other immensely, so I would have no trouble finding a suitable equally professional replacement for any event that can’t be postponed.

Commercial Photography
Siaosi Photography retains copyright, and any necessary licences for commercial use will be included in the service, the appropriate licences are discussed and agreed on at the time of booking.

Non-commercial photography
For non-commercial/family photography, I retain copyright of the photographs. This helps protect your privacy as well as my livelihood. You receive a licence to use the images for personal use. This means you can’t on-sell the images to a third party, and they can’t be used commercially in any way. You can read more about this on my Terms and Conditions page.

I do have an amazing all natural light workspace which is great for headshots and other portraits. It is not a fully equipped studio. Most of my work is on location, and I prefer working with people in their own environment.

Almost 20 years as a professional, I officially started my first photography business with another colleague back in May 2005.

If your wedding or elopement is affected by government restrictions in New Zealand, there is no fee for postponing to a later date (subject to availability). If I’m unavailable on your new date or your wedding is canceled, the original first payment may be used towards any other type of photography session. Other sessions can be rescheduled depending on alert level changes and lockdowns.
