Event photography for the Korean Embassy in Wellington

Opening night of the Korean Film Festival, in Wellington’s Embassy Theatre.

The lovely Junghee at the Korean embassy in Wellington asked me to cover a couple of events for them at the end of the year. It’s always a pleasure to cover these formal and important events, so much work, preparation and attention to detail in them. Plus, there are always new and interesting people to meet and chat to.

The Brief:

“Ambassador Chang-sik Kim is to host the Korean National Day Event and the opening ceremony for the 2022 Korean Film Festival, in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Republic of Korea and New Zealand.”

Photos to include:

  1. The Ambassador, Chang-sik Kim

  2. Ambassador with guests

  3. Candids of people enjoying themselves.

  4. Details of the event set up and displays.

  5. Speeches.

  6. The crowd enjoying the screening of a Korean movie.

The Brief to cover the The End of Year Luncheon for New Zealand Korean War Veterans.

  1. Images to include dignitaries.

  2. Veterans enjoying the event and

  3. Veterans engaging with the Ambassador,

  4. Speeches

  5. Portraits of the veterans.

Jenny took wonderful photographs for us. Her job was to document on dance workshops we do with children and she did so in a very beautiful way, also being very nice and fast to deliver the final outcome. Definitely recommended.
